Wabi Sabi

Wabi-sabi (??) is an aesthetic approach away from "kalos" in the Greek and western approach. It has to do with the effects of "incompleteness" and "imperfection" of Nature and "passage of Time" on human activity.

The imperfection of the pottery used in Japanese Tea Ceremony is often brought as an example of how Wabi-Sabi aesthetics work part of such a refined process.
